The SPORT64SQS Online Arena continues with its February 2024 edition, promising an electrifying competition for chess aficionados worldwide. This month’s edition follows January’s free entry format but adds a competitive twist with an entry fee set at 1,000 Naira. The fee introduces level of challenge, encouraging players to bring their best game forward. This tournament is a pivotal step in the 11-month series leading to the grand Arena Finale in December 2024.

Registration for the February tournament is straightforward. Participants can register using Paystack click here or scanning the QR code. Alternatively, a direct bank transfer option is available for the entry fee. Details for the bank transfer are specified in the images, and proof of payment must be sent via WhatsApp to SPORT64SQS, along with the participant's full name and Lichess ID.

The tournament boasts a generous prize pool of over 200,000 Naira, spread across various categories to ensure wide participation. Categories include Opens, Juniors (U20), Ladies, U2200, U2000, U1800, and U1500, each with its own set of prizes for the top performers. The top prize in the Opens category is a handsome 30,000 Naira, with subsequent prizes scaling down to 5,000 Naira for the 10th place. The Ladies and Juniors categories also offer substantial rewards, peaking at 10,000 Naira and 12,000 Naira for the first place, respectively.

Sport64sqs has outlined clear tournament regulations and standards for fair play and conduct. Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated, with strict penalties for any violations, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all participants.
