Hello Everybody! BriskCheetah here and today I am going to be narrating my rise to 2000 rating points on Lichess in a fun way. This article is written on the day I touched a perfect 2000 (13/9/21 2:28 pm IST).
The Start
Reporter:- "So, when did you start playing chess?"
Me:- "I started playing chess when the first wave of Covid -19 hit India (March 2020). I opened an id on chess.com and shot of with a rating of 800.
Reporter:- "Ok..... so what was your journey after that?"
Me :- " I got to know about lichess when I was like, ummmm, 1400 on chess.com. And then I started playing on lichess too!"
Reporter :- "What was the biggest rating barrier you faced?"
Me:- "I think it was when I was trying to break the rating barrier of 1700 on chess.com."
Reporter :- "And when did you reach 2000 on lichess? How did it feel? Can you show us your final game before reaching 2000?"
I recently reached 2000 on lichess. It felt really good to finally cross the milestone. The final game is shown below with commentary from me."
