I am from Villa Clara, Cuba. I am a professional player and coach. International Master with GM norm and more than 12 years of chess experience.
I enjoy everything related to sports, science and tech.

In my more than 10 years of experience, I have been the main athlete in my country in all categories throughout my development, for always having the best ELO and maintaining high performance. I recently integrated the Olympic Team that participated in the previous and the present Online Chess Olympiad . I was Junior National Champion at 14 years old , also twice Central American Champion. I have obtained outstanding results and titles in national and international tournaments such as the Capablanca, Guillermo Garcia, Carlos Torre, Clemente Vazquez, Cespedes, Camilo Cienfuegos, Migoya, Luis Concepcion, memorials, among other events, that have contributed to improving my ELO and gave me experience and motivation to work harder and better in search of future success.

In these more than 10 years linked to chess I have contributed closely with strong players from my country and especially from my county, sharing experiences, opinions and hours and hours of work.
This has helped me to have enough experience today to offer my knowledge to others and guide them on this hard path in search of perfection.
I give the maximum in my work and I expect the same from those who receive my instructions, all this with the aim of
improve, improve, improve more and achieve our goals!

I have given some television classes on general topics, but I prefer personal training in correspondence with the characteristics of each student.

I believe that a good chess player must have a universal style because to have preferences is to have weaknesses. I prepare and train to dominate and find the best play in all types of positions.
I trust in the analysis, in the general understanding, in the knowledge of the classics, and the deep study of all the phases of the game ...
In these times, when there are such powerful analyzers, it is essential to have a solid understanding of the game and it is important not to blindly trust the opinion of the module because it does not bring any progress. You have to work and make an effort to understand what is happening on the board at all times and that, in the long run, will make a difference.

When starting to work together I start with an evaluation using specific questions and if necessary training games that will allow us to know what level the player has and what deficiencies exist. Based on the conclusions drawn from this analysis, I will create a personalized plan for the appropriate future work.
