I was playing as black in the above game. Then suddenly, my moves weren't registering. No matter how many times I made the Bf5 move, it only showed as highlighted but didn't play out on the board. Please fix this issue before I play more games
Workaround idea if you play on the android app: Restart the app.
Not sure if this works on other platforms, but i sometimes have a similar problem, where the first move is ignored. A app restart helps in this case, but it takes a few seconds you might not have.
@The_Fischer_Of_Men that sounds like you were disconnected which makes the board play exactly like that.
so just refresh or reopen the app
@for_cryingout_loud if I were disconnected, isn't the clock supposed to disconnect, not the time running out? Thanks though, I'll try your suggestion next time ( I hope there's no next time)
@The_Fischer_Of_Men the clock is a lie it will tick down forever unless the lichess server sends a move meaning even if disconnected the time keeps ticking

This happened again. I was ready to sac my queen and try to recover the position. But the board wasn't responding. Twice within a week! Yet my connection was strong. This bug is really infuriating.
@The_Fischer_Of_Men are you using the app (old or new) and have you tried using a browser also try https://lichess.org/account/network
9/10 times its either network or the app
I'm using the Web app ( a chrome shortcut). I believe it's basically the same as using the Web version, as the app always misbehaves on my phone. @for_cryingout_loud do you think this is the issue? It's not network, I'm in a place with a strong signal.
