ive found that the idea of pushing the e pawn asap in the middle game very important (while opposite side castling, as usual in the London) but especially when black castles kingside. but i noticed that blocking blacks epawn with a Ne5 is also popular. which do you find better: getting the rook behind the epawn and pushing e4 and e5 for a happy little pawn chain, OR planting the knight on a nice square on e5?
Planting the knight on e5 is basic London.
