there are 5 classes of mashed potatoes: rough, medium, smooth, velvety and baby food. I like them smooth, but the rest of the family likes them in the velvety to baby food range.

Butter and just a drop of milk here, but sometimes I grate in some swiss cheese for extra effect.

And yet no one has made the Samwise Gamgee reference.
