Why Constant Insult Is Not a Reason for Ban?

Hello everyone,

There is a user that swears constantly after every single game they lose. Today, this person went so wild and showed their extreme "psychopath" face (sorry for saying this but today, that person fantasized about decaptivaging my mother and play soccer with her head) and they are doing this for months already. Although I keep reporting that person, they are still in our community, not banned, and remain spreading their dirty words to people. What is the reason behind keeping them? Is this something more normal than cheating or any other ban reasons?

Would be great to have your feedback.

Regards,
Lichess moderates insults, not swears.
What you described was a one-time insult and constant habit of swearing.
Also reports can take up to a few days.
I can't answer your question but the fact he is a donator I highly doubt has ANY meaning to if banned or not... I also don't think lichess would want its reputation tainted and lose players to abusive players just because they donate some money. If all Lichess cared about is money they would make this a paid service or offer membership like another big chess website does.

Only thing I can think of is not enough people reported him for behavior. Sometimes companies only look into such things if multiple people report. Because otherwise would be too many petty/untrue reports to look into and waste of volunteer/worker times. Many players see this behavior and ignore/don't report. So maybe why no action was taken yet

That is a troubling account. When I face such opponents I count to 100 and drink a hot tea, and then I report them. I hope it will cease for you very soon.

Thank you for the support. After some months, i just lost my patience. I really created this post as the last option, and don't know how else i can try my best to have more clean and respectful chess community here.

Many of us on the site give our efforts to foster an inclusive and civil environment. Hope you will hang in there.
I am not even sure if the "report" button works, but thanks for the copy paste support.
It works, as we receive and process hundreds of reports every day. However I see you never used it yet, so maybe start there, thank you.
