I found candlepin bowling on youtube. This game is genius!! Its popular in northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada.

There are 10 candlepins that are more narrow than in 10 pin bowling. The candlepin bowling ball is about half the diameter of a standard bowling ball. Scoring is lower than in 10 pin bowling, there has not been a 300 game bowled in the histoty of the sport.

Fallen pins are not cleared, but left where they have fallen so they may be used to ricochet into the remaining standing pins.

I may need to move to the Northeast so I can play, too!

I love roller derby. I was a ref for a while before life got inhe way. It's fun to watch people strap skates on and invite people to hit them.
