Too High-Rated opponent Bug in Quick Pairing

Today I went for 15+10 in Quick Pairing. M rapid rating is 1469. I had to wait for a long time and even then, I got a 2145 rated opponent. Please correct this bug.

Sometimes that happens, if you do play really well and win, you get a lot of points. Also, imagine you are 2000 rated player, and you got a 1400, you would be happy wouldn't you, and you won't report it to Lichess would you?

Probably not, for various reasons.

also remember, these are random pairings, Lichess can't really do anything even though you report it

The reason that happened is because op is banned. banned players only get paired with other banned players in the lobby (shadow ban) and they are not allowed to play in tournaments.

If the configured rating range was actually ignored (which we don't know for sure), it's a bug worth investigating and fixing.

But looking at OP's profile, I would rather say the pairing seems to work as expected.

No, till now, in QP, I always got people no more than 50 rtg pints away unless the had a ? rtg.
