how to go about finding an opponent?

Hi,
I'm at this moment mostly interested in occasionally playing a one-off game against an opponent. How do I go about organising such a game? Do I just ask it here in the forum or through another channel?

Grts

Hi Benny,

sorry for seeing your post only now.
You probably don't mean the quick pairing buttons or the site called "Lobby" where you can easily filter the game offers. That is the way I usually get my single games.
Do you mean a game between two players both using an e-board?
That's maybe difficult, but you are welcome to open a thread here in which you write your preferred time ( I recommend using UTC time format), time control and rating range. We'll see if 90 members are enough to find an opponent this way. It could be worth a try I think.
I hope I understood your question correctly, otherwise please ask again.

Have a nice day,
Michael
