Difficult to start these. Yet I know I owe a lot of people an explanation.
After attending the antichess WC 1+2. I was shown how to play this game by @yabbadabbadooooooo .
He bested me with quite devastating numbers (.5 - 5.5). And what happened is that I got mad at myself for losing so badly. And what I did to process it for myself was making the absolute worst decision after that.
I started using the Stockfish engine. And for 1+0 games, the Sjeng Engine.
What made me decide to do so? I guess some sad piety for myself not being able to take a loss. A hard lesson learned.
Don't ever use an engine, ultimately it won't gain you anything. It will only lose you more.
An honest apology is what I owe a lot of people:
Everyone affiliated with the IAF, I realize a dark day has now passed.
And a lot of players that have lost a game vs me.
-------------------
Furthermore I would like to state my own decisions:
I am willing to continue organizing the European Antichess Championship. A ton of progress has been made the last few months, and we are very close to making this event happen.
Aside from this dark day, I am aware that I did a lot of good things for the community. And ultimately I should have always chosen the community above my own personal gain.
I hope I can somehow set things right with everyone involved.
I rest by the decision of the IAF what is to become of the various consequences.
I will remain active on this account for some time longer, I can understand people have a lot of questions after these events. And I will answer to my best intent.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone affiliated with the IAF. You are all great players for not only the game, but also a thriving community, something you can be proud off.
