Starting position for variants tournaments

Hello,

I liked that new feature, where you can create tournaments from known positions. I was wondering if there are plans to extend it to the variants as well? Would be cool to create a alternative scenarios for atomic or antichess..

I did a feature request on github some weeks ago to be able to start variant games "from position" and it was promptly closed with "we have talked about this before and won't do it" as the entire explanation.
