Nine Points Tournament Rules

Please read and understand the rules for playing

Be on time
Join 10 minutes before to avoid losing 0.5 points in the first round

Log on to zoom and turn on your Video. Mute yourself if there is background noise.

The video must remain on during the tournament.
NO - Virtual background or zoom filters

Play on a laptop or desktop (avoid I pad.)

Do not take help or suggestions from parents, siblings, or friends while playing the tournament

Play all three rounds. IMPORTANT

Avoid offering/accepting a Draw or Resigning.

Always say, “good game” to your opponent
The 3 rounds usually take an hour and 15 min max.

Play for sportsmanship!

Say, “bye, Mrs. Soni” before logging off

Students who play inconsistently and miss more than 3 games a month will be removed from the team
