Most players are afraid of losing their rating that they come to a certain point and stop because they fear their rating.Activate zen mode here. After all improvement is not a steady line, you have ups and downs.

#3 Play till the end

#4 Do not be afraid of higher rated opponents

Yes,they will crush you but your effort will be counted.Playing with them will make you try harder.
