Funnily enough, i got into playing chess on a trip to Amsterdam! After seeing the sights and traveling around the city, we came back to our Air-BnB exhausted and whilst chillin among 'other things' we found a chess board and started playing. one of my mates taught me how to play and after that i fell in love with the game. The main thing for me when playing is to try and always have fun. if I'm not having fun, i simply stop playing and try to play again later. If you are the reason I'm not having fun, then ill probably just resign the game or report you if you're too rude. :D
