My favourite world chess champion is Emanuel Lasker. Emanuel Lasker 24 December 1868, Barlinek, Poland
Died: 11 January 1941 held a Dr degree in Mathematics and was a philosopher. He was World champion for a record 0f 27 years. Lasker wrote two classical chess manuals- Lasker's manual of chess and Common sense in chess. Classic Quote by Lasker-"When you see a good move ,look for better one!"
