is each tournament player-made?

basically have 2 questions here, how does the "Create tournament" button work and are ALL the tournaments made by people?

Official Lichess arena tournaments like "hourly", "monthly" or Shield are created automatically.

Team battle tournaments are created manually (adding teams, schedules, etc.)

To create a tournament, simply go to the dedicated tab https://lichess.org/tournament/new and choose a time control and the total duration of your Arena, and then set a timer before the start of the tournament to bring people back.

To have a better tournament experience, you can create a team to do tournaments, this will allow you to have a regular audience to play.
