Just accept it, take a break if you need and get back

Actually you don't really "lose" rating points where your chess abilities drop by 5%. It merely reflects level of your recent play. So if I perform at a 2000 level whether I start at 1600 or 2400 my rating would eventually converge at 2000 after enough games. When I'm underrated my opponents give me more points and when I'm overrated I'll shed them faster.

If you're currently not playing well take a break and relax. When you play again you'll be in a better mental state and will hopefully play better. If your rating is low you will also get nice rating increases.

At least it's not cash - tilting at games like Poker is way more harmful for your life in reality than losing a few chess points.

Edit. just to add, I used to play Poker fairly seriously...so I speak from experience.

Dont play, just dont play chess in any means whatsoever. Days or even weeks, dont play if you're tilted. Eventually, you might have a sudden retention to chess, a random inspiration - an eureka moment in a way, You'll know why and how to change things up, you'll learn from your mistakes and with a fresh mind, that's when you can restart.
