Lichess will sign the largest contract in its history with FIDE, and move from associative status to that of a foundation. a 10-year contract will allow the Lichess Foundation to forever transform the world of chess, for example, by formalizing the Arena format for candidate tournaments, as well as an IRL bullet world championship, where every player present in the room will be equipped with a computer and a mouse. a great first in the history of chess, the first hybrid competition!
