What is chess for you?

Im doing my own research of chess players, their goals, their motivation of playing chess, reasons why, purposes, everything!

Im so interested to discover for myself why do people do this and what do they realy want from chess?

is this for rest, or joy, or for problem solving, other things.

For me - chess is kinda escape from reality to be honest. I dont wanna be a grand master, just to fight the rivalries, train memory, get rid of troubles for the time by concentrating into a game. What about you?

A game.

It's a bloody board-game, kiddies...not a way of life.

A way to destroy time, to increase my thinking and reaction time, and to flex my rating.
If obladie comes up again he will surely say this as a 12 year old habit of doing things. :D
