Shivaji because he was a great warrior in 16s. He defeated the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and crushed the Mughal force. Many times Aurangzeb tried to kill him and capture Maratha empire but failed. He is a hero of every Maratha. He fought very well in wars.
For me it's definitely Perseus from Greece. Hercules is also ok but he doesn't have a nice attitude
Well, my favorite is Alexander the Great.
But as a warrior, I prefer Arminius.

It is very easy to favour warriors of a long gone past because you tend to only know about their glorious victories but not about any atrocities they might have committed on their way into the history books.
