I just tried it and I like it, but one small thing: I think maybe the message should be red instead of green to indicate that it's a bad move, or maybe even match the color of the annotation (so red for blunder, orange for mistake, blue for dubious). How it is right now with the green, I feel like it would be easy to mistake (no pun intended) it for a good move since the message doesn't show for very long and you might not have time to read it if you're looking at the board.

It's a different green color, partially transparent, as well as the symbol on the top left and a more rounded rectangle. It looks completely different. Since there are many possible glyphs, creating a color mapping for all would be kind of uselessly complicated.
Also, if someone sees a red thing popping up for a second, they might assume that they have to retry the move, which is not the case at all.

I did notice that it was slightly different, but I thought it looked similar enough that someone might not notice if they were looking at the board rather than the message. But if they were looking at the board, they probably would see the blunder/mistake/inaccuracy annotation on the board, so I guess it doesn't matter.

That's true, so maybe yellow or orange would be a better color, since that's clear it's not the right move but also different from red. But green is fine too, I guess it's just a personal preference.
