unable to import PGNS from chess.com • page 1/1 • Lichess Atomic • lichess.org

When I play atomic on chess.com then copy the PGN and try to paste it in the analysis board of lichess, I always get an error that a certain move cannot be played and I thus have to input the moves manually. has this ever happened to anyone ?

Also converting from algebraic notation to standard notation doesn't help.
any solutions ?

Hello,
To convert games from chess.com, you need to remove the last line in case of a black win
For example: "19. 0-1" has to be erased.

You also, sometimes, need to change castling notation.
For example: "7.Ke1g1 Qb4" has to become "7. 0-0 Qb4"
(0-0-0 if long castle)

Remember not to use the engine on chess.com in live games.

well thanks for the response, I found that copying the PGN from the website directly rather that downloading as a text file first then copying works. not sure why tho
