LFT Knockout!

Hello everyone! Registration is now starting for an Single elimination knockout with best of two 60+30 matches!

The highest-placing player who has not already qualified for the Elite Double RR qualifies for the Second Edition!

We'll plan on having a Third place Play-off for the fun of it :)

Format:

Seeded bracket based on Lichess Classical Rating
60+30 best of two games
If the 60+30 best of two is tied 1-1, the players play a best of two 15+10 match.
If the 15+10 best of two is tied 1-1, the players play a "Armageddon" game, where white gets 10 minutes, black gets 7 minutes, and if the games ends in a draw black wins the match.

The event starts on August 21st, and will have two weeks per round.

Hello Everyone! I am starting the LFT Knockout early!

The event will be 60+30 best of two matches, if these are tied 1-1 continue to alternate colors as you start a best of two 15+10 tie-breaker, and if necessary, The Armageddon game.
